ST MARY'S PARISHIONERS AT WORK CHURCH READERSChurch readers play a huge role during the Mass, reading the first and
second readings as well as leading the congregation in the responsorial psalm (unless being sung by the choir).
Standing up at the pulpit in front of the congregation may seem daunting to many, however if you feel that you wish to give your time to the Church in this way then please give it a go.
Whilst we are grateful for the time our current readers put in, new volunteers are welcome at any time, either on a regular Sunday rota or perhaps as a reserve reader to help as and when needed.(to cover for holidays etc)
